WHO IS MICHAEL PERRY?

Michael Perry is a Pop/R&B/Pop-Rock Canadian recording artist & songwriter with a distinctive powerful voice inspired by Gospel, Rock and R&B. He typically releases new music on the 3rd Friday of the month. In 2021, the Sex Don’t Solve Problems singer released his album "Advancing Dreams Through Brokenness" on 9 April, "Epiphany" EP on 1 January and his latest Christmas release "All I Want This Christmas / Christmas Isn't Christmas" on 21 November, 2021.

Recurrent themes in his music include loving yourself, being proud of your individuality and the challenges of sexual and romantic relationships. He makes music to spread good news: uniqueness isn’t a weakness but a superpower. He's performed worldwide and notably at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Fierté Montréal’s TD Stage. He has been featured on radio stations and podcasts across the globe.

Growing up on Antigua, the That's Life! singer performed in numerous choirs & groups across the island. At 11, he released his debut album in 2005, leaping from choir boy to solo artist. It received significant airplay on local radio. He strives to consistently improve his craft.

Past performances include the USA-Japan Goodwill Concert at Carnegie Hall (as part of the No Borders Youth Music Consort) and on Montréal’s CKUT. In 2017, he released his debut Pop album, “Underwear Model,” landed an interview on Montréal’s CJAD, a feature on the Homoground Podcast and radio airplay in San Diego, Altea (Spain). 2018 saw the release of his sophomore effort, “Unlocked.” In 2019, Perry became a certified audio technician.
